Tree Surveys & Management Plans

This is a great service for those unsure of the health of their trees and their safety.

  • These include both ground and aerial surveys.
  • All trees within the survey have their species condition and any remedial work required recorded.
  • Management plans include the reactive nature and specifications of remedial work undertaken.

All surveys with Great Heights are in accordance with 135583; 2012 Trees in relation to design, demolition and construction recommendations.

Root Treatment

More and more recently I see the potential for root treatment to increase trees overall vitality and resistance to potential disease.

The treatments include soil improving medius, for example bio-char. We mix with our own compost extracts which create a great medium for soil and tree health.

Tree Planting

Unsure of what to plant and where on your property or even in your woodland and habitat condition? Great Heights can offer area and soil assessment to offer sustainable tree planting options.

We offer to source and plant trees also depending on the size of area in question.

Workshops

A recent endevour has been facilitating tree planting and pruning workshops. These have been for Common Knowledge in County Clare.

Great Heights is run by Robin Johnson, with over 10 years experience. From tree pruning and thinning for silviculture companies in Canada to working as a climbing arborist in Ireland. Now working in Tree Surveying and Management Plans.
